Aaron Hall

Date of Birth: 09/11/1990

Club: North Melbourne FC

Games (Goals): 124 (90)

Recruited From: 2011 Pre-Season Draft, Pick 7 from Hobart (TFL)

A mature age recruit from the Hobart Football Club, Aaron was selected in the Pre-Season Draft by the Gold Coast in 2011 at 21 years of age. Explosive speed, ability to break the lines, and a lethal kick, Aaron established to the public that he had the tools to play at AFL level.

Making his debut for the Suns in Round 1 of 2012, Aaron was used as a small forward at the commencement of his AFL career before starting to break in to the midfield after his first couple of years at the club. This is where Aaron could truly show his wares and be incredibly damaging to opposition teams.

Suffering a serious pectoral injury in the early parts of 2018, Aaron missed the remainder of the year in what was very disappointing way to finish the season. This also led to Aaron making the decision to finish his time at the Gold Coast and head to Victoria to be closer to his family and friends as he and his partner started their own family. North Melbourne successfully negotiated a trade and Aaron was rapt to join the Kangaroos ahead of the 2019 season.

After overcoming a few personal issues in 2019, Aaron bounced back in 2020 showing his run and dare. In what was a difficult season for he team, Aaron is looking forward to seeing the Roos bounce back up the ladder in 2021.
