An up and comer of Women's Football, Bridie looks set to be one of the many younger players embarking on AFLW career with a bright future.
Born and raised down the Mornington Peninsula, Bridie has always thrived in her sporting pursuits and has been a dominant player throughout her junior career. This was evident in the inaugural 2017 TAC Cup Season where she was award the league Best & Fairest Award alongside fellow Precision client, Chloe Molloy.
Since the conclusion of the TAC Cup season, Bridie played in the VWFL for Cranbourne saw her play in the Ruck, Forward, and Back, against players much older and experienced than her. Bridie was also selected to represent Vic Country in the 2017 Youth Girls Carnival on the Gold Coast, where she enjoyed a fine week of Football.
After a terrific season in 2017, Bridie was selected by Carlton where she put in a terrific preseason. Whilst it took her a few rounds before as he made her debut, Bridie was a last minute call up against the eventual Premiers, the Western Bulldogs in what was a tough night for the Blues as they were easily accounted for. However that did not dent Bridie's confidence as she cemented her role in the team and continued to develop her game throughout the remainder of the season.
