The son of former Western Bulldog champion, Tony. Tom has cut his own unique path throughout his AFL journey to date. A father / son selection from the Calder Cannons in 2010, Tom burst onto the AFL scene in his debut season, playing 16 games and winning the Clubs Best First Year Player.

Tom continued his progression over the course of the following seasons, resulting in him becoming one of the games best inside midfielders where he would regularly amass big statistics. Unfortunately this progression was hampered after suffering an ACL injury in a Pre Season game ahead of the 2015 season, however Tom bounced back to form in 2016 and was a key driving force in the clubs drought breaking Premiership.

Suffering a second ACL injury in 2018, Tom has managed a bit of luck since this injury and has once again played a key role in the Bulldogs midfield throughout 2019 & 2020, resulting in him coming third in the 2020 Club Best & Fairest.

Outside of Football, Tom embarks on regular charity work, including his own charity which supports buskers.
