U/18 Vic Country Representative 2016
Enjoying a terrific year for the North Ballarat Rebels and St Patrick’s College, Tom was mainly utulised off the half back flank and wing position. This was also evident in the National Carnival where he represented Vic Country.
Originally from Ararat, Tom excelled at the National Combine Screening in October finishing right up the top in the kicking test, beep test, agility test, vertical jump, running vertical jump, and 3km time trial, proving his versatility.
One of the youngest in his Draft year, turning 18 mid way through December, Tom showed plenty of upside which led to Carlton selecting him. Making a terrific transition into his AFL career, Tom played 15 games in his debut season giving him a lot of confidence heading into his second season. Unfortunately a back injury hampered his output in 2018 and 2019, however after dedicating himself to his rehabilitation he went into the 2020 season in terrific shape leading to him playing 15 games for the year and cementing his spot off the half back flank.
Putting pen to paper at the end of the season, securing his time at the club until the end of 2022, Tom is excited for the future.
